Default DeWitt radiator install

I got around the weekend to installing my xmas present to myself a DeWitts radiator. I have been needing to upgrade sense I went Procharged. I did the license plate fresh air mod which work well but knew when summer time came the heat was on. This has no cooler because I'm going to be installing my own oil cooler. I also changed my Procharger oil sense which had a bout 3K on it.

Stock radiator vs. the DeWitts

How much extra dex cool does it take to run one of those? That is twice the size. How many copper tubes run that? I am very interested in that upgrade

I finished up my DeWitts install the previous weekend. Indeed a very nice piece. I kid you not, my coolant temps are 20 degrees lower (according to the DIC) with the DeWitts radiator vs the stock radiator (same t-stat). Think I used close to 3 gallons of a 50-50 mix of distilled water and dex-cool. I tried to drain the block as much as possible before refilling.

I think it holds one more gallon. Its all aluminum, including the tanks. Very nice assembly and welds. I have fondled, errr, I mean admired them at Carlisle for the last few years.

Living in the lovely, but often hot, S.Cal a larger radiator is on my radar for upcoming projects. I've heard of the DeWitts and know they're quality. Trouble is, I'm running an A4 and need/want the version of the radiator with the oil/tranny cooler portion also. I can't find a DeWitt's with that added on. Who, if anyone makes a larger capacity, and hopefully, aluminium radiator for those of us wanting the oil/tranny cooling capacity??

We make every possible combination, from manual, A4, with Engine Oil cooling on the left or right side. Here is the list

Yes, they make it. I just bought the one with the left side oil cooler (MN6). And the coolers are different, i.e., the one for the tranny is different than the one for the oil and they are both specialized for their intended use.

THANK YOU. Looks like I've got another project before summer sets in. You'll be getting my order right after I pay for my new shocks, sways, brakes, etc, going in today and tomorrow.
