Installing cam today!
I'm installing a cam today and one of the how-tos that I've been following says I should use red rtv sealant on the timing chain cover. Have you guys used that or am I ok with just the new gaskets I have? I don't like to use that stuff unless I'm supposed to.

Use your new GM timing cover gasket, however you will need a dab of RTV on each corner where the block, oil pan, and timing cover meet.
