LS1 Engine weight - Auto Vs. Manual
I pulled this info off the Spec sheet from the chevrolet website......
Total Dressed Engine Mass (wt.) Dry Automatic 457.6 lbs. (208 kg); Manual 497.2 lbs. (226 kg)
Can anyone explain why the LS1 in an auto car weighs 40 lbs less than a manual.....
