Hey guys, so im sure youve been reading about my remote bleeder install and not sure if its able to be done, even though a guy with a c6 did it...well i have a c5, and it is not possible with the RPM one from charlie, and ive heard his is the best and has the best chances of being done, but i can attest that it can not. Only because you run out of material to grab your wrench onto as it goes farther into the TT.
ANYHOW!!!
This morning i decided to drop the rear suspension, TT all as one unit, pretty easy actually with one guy, one jack, car on jackstands and a little Tool shop rolling cart thing and some wood stacked on it for extra height.
I got to checking out my remote bleeder and how easy it is to install once the TT is out, and i notice that my slave line where it connects to the slave cylinder is really loose, like you can turn it in circles, but it doesnt look serviceable, like there isnt a nut loose or something.
Is this normal or do i need to order one??? I hope to find this out today because i would like to put it back together tonight. No im not replacing my clutch, i dont have enough money at the time because i have spent it on too much other stuff for the car that probably wasnt necessary, and i really dont want to replace the slave because i beleive a new one was put in before i bought the car, but i could be wrong!!
I am pretty sure that is normal. that hose will move around. In fact, I noticed that I had my slave cyl hose going the wrong direction after I had it all togehter. I wasn't about to drop it again, so i was able to twist it around about 270 deg to the correct position. I recommend you be sure the hose is in the correct position before reinstalling the driveline.
