Default GM Hot cam dyno results...

For all the hot cam haters/lovers and the inbetweeners.....

04 C5 coupe
Before cam install
SSAUTOCHROME Headers (ebay headers)
No Cats/Z06 mufflers
Dual cone intake
Tune
341hp/362tq (Mustang dyno)

After cam install
GM Hot Cam and LS6 springs
Same mods as above

380hp/372tq
(Mustang Dyno)

Special thanks to RonSS for supplying the cam at a great price and all others that helped here to make installing this cam a breeze. The car pulls like hell and sounds great! couldnt be happier.

Nice numbers

throw some 1.8 rockers on there and give that cam the lift to match your heads!

Should get you over the 400hp NP

Would you mind making a video of your car at idle please? 380 HP is great and I would bet you will not have clutch problems.

Considering it's a Mustang Dyno, those are all very good numbers

Excellent! I'm assuming that was STD numbers?

Let us know how your mileage is affected... if it isn't too bad this just became a good option, for me anyway!

I did not need a tune w/ my 1.8's yella terra light weight shaft mounts.

THe stock computer on my 97 was easily able to compensate enough for this. I just unplugged the the negative terminal on the battery during the install (always a good idea) and then it (the computer) was able to re learn the any slight variations.

As for sound, the hot cam sounds nice, very 60's sounding.

I have the same cam and have been on the fence as to install or sell it. Your car sounds great! Did the the cam change give you a sop feel? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hell yes! My car never pulled so hard and as soon as you hit 3rd gear consider yourself gone This is all after a tune of course. If you already have the cam i say go for it, esp if your doin the install, got nothing to lose at this point.
