Also do a search on craftsmen jacks and all of them have problems and most of them have recalls, look also in the SEAR online, and read the comments.
I but two one did not work when I got it out of the box and the other started to leak.

yea my craftsman leaks like crazy and of course there is no warranty on it. talk about a safety hazard with slippery fluid all over the place and the chances of pressure loss and the car falling. im all about buying american but with crap like that and no warranty, sometimes it makes me wonder. maybe if i put some stop leak in it

its a jack just like any other where the proper way of doing it is using a jack stand after you raise the car. besides the vette bodies are so rock solid that the rear will lift as you raise the front with a jack. so im sure you can just do that as well. if you need to change a front tire, raise the rear and im sure the front will go up too
