No start problem cured
I had an intermittent no start problem on my 98 6 speed. After replacing the starter solenoid and cleaning all the connections I could think of, I pulled the ignition switch. I tried to disassemble it but the little springs in there flew out and I couldn't find all of them. The contact points in the switch were somewhat corroded. So I purchased a new one and so far after about two weeks of use it has started every time. Just an FYI.
