Battery relocation/weight distribution
I am seriously considering relocating the battery to the right rear compartment utilizing an LPE battery relocation kit. The question I have is what to do with that big space up front where the battery used to be. I am thinking of buying a Canton coolant reservoir and placing it in this space and removing the factory one up front.
I only drag race occasionally, but I am thinking every little bit helps. Not sure how much fluid is contained in the tank, but about 1 gallon of water = 12 lbs right???
My question is has anyone done this, or heard of this mod and do you think it is worth the trouble...???

Water is just over 8 pounds per gallon.
Don't know anyone who has relocated the battery .... but what weight does the kit add to the car ?? That's got to be a long and heavy positive cable to get to the starter ..... Also I'd want one hellacious strong tie down for that battery .... In a front impact if that battery came loose it would be a deadly missle in the cabin ... and it would be exposed to damage in a rear impact .... I wouldn't want battery acid flying around either .... make sure that thing is SECURE if it's gonna be in the cabin with you.
