Do a Search over on the Autocrossing/Road Racing Forum. Hundreds of discussions and "how-to" threads. Not really a good way to "extend" existing ducts. Best option is to install the DRM ducts: http://www.dougrippie.com/ They are expensive for what they are but work. Quite often used ones come up for sale on the racing forum. Others have been installing the C6 Z06 ducts which are inexpensive, however, it's more a "custom" install.
