Alright, I just had a Tex OZ700 Z-grip installed. I have about 200 miles on it so far. First impressions...clutch is amazing. Feel's great, grabs hard, chatters on take off....but you just need to drive it properly to avoid the chatter.
Since it was installed...i can't get the car into reverse while the car is running. When car is off it goes into reverse no problem at all. Anybody know what's up with that?
I've done a few 4th gear starts with the clutch already and was able to get the car into reverse immediatly afterwards...leading me to believe that clutch needs to be broken in abit and the problem may go away. This also tells me that the reverse solenoid is fine.
I would think that another option is to shim the slave so that the clutch disengages a little further. Those that have this clutch...did you shim the slave?
Any help or feedback is appreciated. Thanks guys!!!

First of all, you stated you "had it installed", if this is the case, I would take it right back to the shop the did the work. If you did the work yourself, did you replace the slave why you had it apart? Did you adjust the shifter after reassembly?
Sounds like they didn't re-connect the reverse lock out solenoid, look under the car for a wire hanging. I thinks its the one at the very top of the tranny. If tis connected, see if the wires are damaged. If they forgot to disconnect while dropping the tranny the connection could be damaged.
I forgot to mention...slave and master were replaced and a remote bleeder was installed.
What's confusing me about the reverse solenoid is that i am able to get the car in reverse after hammering on the clutch a little...but it's worth double checking to see if it's connected.
