C5 Signal light issue
I was wondering if anyone has had this problem: my signal lights works randomly. At times, it works for weeks without a problem. Then out of the blue, they will not work for a day. I know it's not the fuse or the bulbs because the daytime lights are running fine. Help.

Yes it is a very common probelm. the bizarre thing is that the turn signals are wired thru the hazard flasher....

For what it's worth, I just finished changing mine last Friday. It really wasn't as bad to change as I first thought. The hardest part was guiding the new one back in place. Part of the problem was my fat fingers!
The turn signals work great now!

Mine went out last night and I just had my emergency flasher replaced less than a month ago. 
I removed my knee bolster, checked all the connections, gently tucked all the wires under the dash and low and behold the blinkers started working.

Best to check the connection for corrosion or the melting prob.
