Default Damn memory seating!!!

I have no idea why...but sometimes (most of the time) in order for me to get my seat to where it's supposed to be, I haev to push the memory button several times...it slowly nudges itself up with every push, closer and closer to where it's supposed to be...then sometimes, when I get back into my car, the seat will be all the way forward...!?

Help!!!

Do you always use the same key fob ? They are numbered 1 & 2 and remember the settings.

Clean the connector pins at the seat to car interface area under the seat.

I was just thinking the same thing!!!

Check and post your DTCs . If any are set for the memory or If one of your position sensors for the seat isn't working correctly,,it could effect the memory.

Heres the calibration procedure out of the service manual:

Memory Seat Calibration Procedure
The memory seat module uses position sensor inputs to establish soft stop locations for the adjuster motors several millimeters ahead of the physical limits of the adjuster assembly. After replacing a memory seat module or adjuster components, it may be necessary to reset the adjuster motor soft stop locations. When the repair procedure has been completed, operate the seat adjuster switch in every direction until the seat adjuster reaches its mechanical hard stop by repeatedly pressing and releasing the switch as necessary.

Run your seat through the FULL ranges of it adjustability to make sure it working correctly. Once you complete that, get BOTH or all three if you have three set to function and (for the test) set the memory for each fob that you use to lock and unlock to the same settings. Once you are certain its not a FOB related issue, go ahead and set the other FOBs to driver preferred settings.

I've got the same problem except mine also sometimes won't go back at all when I take the key out. And yes, I do have Easy Entry turned on. I've got no codes and have cleaned it. Maybe it's just going bad and hasn't set off any codes yet?

Ah,,,,Zo SEX! Been there had that exact issue. It was a shorted door wiring harness. Remove the rubber accordion tube and look for bare wires.

Thats what caused Mine
