I understand that it might seem like we asked for help but then just turned around and took it to the dealership without following through, but please remember, I was working on minimal sleep and getting nowhere with checking out what people had suggested.
The grounds were all good, 2 different batteries were tried, wiring, fuses, etc were checked. I felt I was getting nowhere and I knew that the dealership we go to has a pretty good service department.
As for how much work we've had done with the Vette. This dealership fixed the problems that another dealership saddled us with right after we bought the Vette. The comun lock was done by a place near Tacoma since that was where it all locked up on me. Then this happened. We get taken care of pretty good at Baydo's, not because we've spent a lot of money there (believe me, they haven't gotten much out of us) but because we have put on car shows there, and talked with and gotten to know the managers and staff.

Again, I am sorry if it felt to anyone that I was dissing them. I am almost always exhausted the week after my reserve weekend. Two hours of sleep Sunday evening and 4-5 on Monday is the norm.

I usually love to work on our cars myself but I am willing to admit that I am lost and going beyond my knowledge. The last thing I wanted to do was mess up and cause more problems than I fixed. Of course, the cars I prefer working on are the older ones, no computers!

Thanks to everyone who took the time to try to help us. I hope to have my Vette back tomorrow so I can drive it to work Sunday night.
