Lots of us on these forums are interested in those headers. If you could document install and any issues thru the install you would have a bunch of us being very thankful to you. Photos would be super. There have been other threads about these headers with way too many opinions and way too few facts.

I don't think he even tried to install them. Just listened to all the negative feedback he was getting from forum members. He also heard of a set that another guy supposedly installed that had issues. So instead of taking a chance of them not working, he sent them back and said he will be saving up for a good used set from the forum.

I wanted these and followed that guys post for ever it seemed like! After reading he sent them back without trying an install, I just gave up and bought a set of TPIS's from the "for sale section". Still waiting on them to get here though!

I had normal fitment issues such as the headers being made for '01-'04 and my '99 had a different air injection setup, but I expected that. Otherwise, it was pretty routine. Very nice quality too. They look alot like the LG street header, but with a different collector connection.

What are these headers off of ebay? What brand is that?

I'm trying to figure out what brand mine are because they're long tubes and they're in good shape still(the finish) after all these miles but there isn't any brand on them anywhere.
Thanks,
Donnie

I am interested in the normal fitment issues as well. What needed to be done to resolve the air injection set up issue? I would be installing on a 99 vert.

The air injection issue that was mentioned. Not a result of these being cheap just that they are made for '01-'04's. Also, the starter needed to be dropped to get the right one in. Dip stick alteration was necessary as well. Problems that likely any header would have.

The AIR fitting is pretty easy to overcome. You can either buy the 01-04 AIR tubing, or simply buy block off plates and remove the system all together.

Really that's it? I have a 01 so sounds to me that it should be plug and play. Hmmmmmmm
