I am modifing my cooling system for my A4. I am planning on bypassing the in radiator trans ccooler. Which trans oil cooler can I use? I am mounting it in front of Ac condensor. I want to eliminate the in radiator 1. I do not want a cooler with a fan on it though. Anyone have experiance on how big it needs tro be? I am getting a stage 4transmission and stall converter in a few months
thankd

What kind of driving do you do? Any track, and what kind of track? I.e. 1/4 mile or road or autox. I guess 1/4 mile since you are getting a stall. A high stall will generate a lot of heat, not much can be done about it.
I tried the B&M 130-70274, it will fit but just barley, but it was not enough here in CO on the road race track, down at your altitude it may be enough depending on what you do. If you take it to the track be sure you get a racing cooler as they will generally be larger. Also, only get a plate style, tube and fin do not cool oil enough.
Does your radiator have provisions for cooler lines or is it a radiator for a stick? Reason why I am saying this is if your radiator can run cooler lines, you should run the fluid thru the radiator first. It serves two purposes. It heats the fluid when it cold and cools it first before going to the aftermarket cooler. I went with a 24K B&M cooler.
