Default Powerbond 25% UD Pulley

My stock pulley walked off on my 01 Z06 and I want to replace it. I was going to go with a stock size Powerbond, but it seems no one is stocking them.

For those of you who have done 25% UD pulleys, will I see any adverse side effects from actually going UD? Like interior power inconsistency and fluctuations in the lighting and such?

I remember back when I had an fbody I did an ASP pulley and it made the car run a little strange.

I realize I can always add an alternator OD pulley but I was just wondering if I will even need to?

I installed one and everything seems fine. I did get higher than normal coolant temps on the way back from the Cruise In down in BG. The traffic was HORRIBLE and It was 95 @ 300% humidity Once we were moving again all was fine.

I really like mine.

How much higher was you coolant temp than before? I suspect only a few degrees or so. I installed an Evans high flow water pump at the same time so I am running cooler if anything. No charging problems at all I might add.

with Corvette Don, exact same set-up, 25% UD pulley/160-t, and a lower fan on/off, no problems.

mine runs 3 to 5 degrees warmer in 6th gear than in 5th gear traveling at the same speed. 192 vs 187-189, 90 degree day. not really an issue.
