hypertec chip
i am new to the corvette tuning game and recently bought a 97 C5 with K&N intake, catback and a hypertec chip. it supposedly spun the dyno at 318rwhp. I want to get longtubes, high flo cats, Xpipe as well as a ls6 intake manifold and a ported TB. will my hypertec chip be ok or will it be off after that is done? i was told by the guy who sold it to me that it was a 1-tune chip. if anyone has the hypertec or can help me it is greatly apreciated. thanks!

Don't even think there are removable/programmable chips in 'Vettes. Probably has a download tune from a handheld. Pretty good numbers for a basically stock '97. I don't know CA., but if you're in the LA area, there's a great tuner @ A&A Corvette. After you do your exhaust mods, and whatnot, go there for a tune.
