When I accelerate, my car seems to have reduced power from about 2,000 to 3,000 rpm.
It is very noticeable. It does not matter what gear I am in (it is an automatic). It does not matter if the traction control is on or off. It does not matter how far I am pushing the pedal as long as I am accelerating.
I have changed the plugs. I have installed new GMPP plug wires. I have installed a new fuel filter.
Is this with or without active handling on? If with it off, you may need to attach a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail and make sure the fuel pump is maintaining pressure throughout the full rpm range.
how many miles on it. Are you sure it is only in that 2000-3000 power band or does it start at 2,000 and have no power all the way up. If that is the case, check your cats. They are notorious for this. You will feel like your pulling an anchor if they are really blocked, if only partially blocked it won't be that obvious. On mine they became hard and actually a chunk broke. I could hear it rolling around like a marble. It scared me half to death. Thought I had thrown a bearing or something.
The other thing you could do is either bring it to a tuner or a buddy who has a laptop and the software to monitor and record a run. Then if you or your friend know how to analyze it you can or send the report to a tuner. Or...even better, post it up in the forum tuner section...I am sure somebody can help you out.

It is the same with active handling on or off. I have checked fuel pressure and it is good all the way through the rpm range. I have new cats on the car and it had this problem before and after the new exhaust. Any other suggestions?? Thanks!
Friends car is having similar problems, also an automatic, no codes showing. Already swapped the fuel filter, plugs and wires too and cleaned the air filter. Doesn't happen all the time only now and then. Really fell on it's face when ran it on a dyno. Any chance a ground problem might cause this?
