Couldn't have said it better. I wish that the only people posting were those that actually have experience using all of the products that are being compared. No one wants to believe they made a bad decision with buying parts, and that is why nearly everyone recommends whatever they chose for their car.

FWIW, I am going to swap out ARH 1 7/8" longtubes for LG Pros on my Z. Will that make me an expert on which are the bestest headers ever? No f-in way. But I will post on the differences of the two and relative benefits of each based on experience. Hopefully if others post with similar comparisons, then we can start to get some real value out of these threads!!!

The OP asked for opinions and that's what he's getting. I personally have LG LTs and love 'em, but I know Kooks are great as well. To each his own Tonka.

I like the fact that Lou races our car and supports our sport/hobby and our forum in ways that others don't. Anthony and the rest of the LG staff are extremely accessable and took calls from me as well as my tuner to make sure we had everything nailed down and tuned just right, so that scores huge points with me as well. I've purchased parts from other forum vendors and have been appalled with what passes for "customer service".

You can spend your money with any number of different vendors and get a quality product and improved performance. I personally choose to spend my money with someone who has deep ties to our hobby and the same passion about the car I drive, and who's going to pick up the phone when I call, but that's just me. It's a free country!
