Auto Transmission noise
My auto trans 2004 C5 runs great, and from a standing start, accelerating hard, it would chirp going from first to second. Now I get another noise at the same time as the chirp (shifting from first to second). It sounds like it is working hard to shift from first to second. It feels like it is shifting smooth. If it weren't for the sound, I wouldn't think twice about it. Any thoughts about needing a trans adjustment? I have 25,000 miles. I think it sounds like it is shifting at its limit, eventhough I am not holding it in first, but start with it in 3rd? And it shifts when it is ready. Thanks for any help.
