Clutch Question
So this has happened to me twice and I wonder if it's normal.
From a roll in 1st gear when I accelerate hard I get a slight smell of what seems to be clutch but with the Traction Control engaged I was wondering if it could be associted to that too (brakes being applied as well as de-fueling).
I've tried to see if the clutch is slipping in 3 or 4 gears and there doesn't seem to be any noticeable slippage or smell for that matter. Just wondering if this is a sign of a clutch in the near future or not. The car has about 50K miles and afaik it's the original clutch. There's no sticking or lag in engagement so I'm wondering ????
In the event of a clutch I was leaning toward the Centerforce Dual Friction. I had good results in my Mustang Cobra with nitrous but that was peak of 395HP (I forget the torque numbers).
