Anyone know about sequential transmissions?
I'm wondering if anyone out there has or knows about specific gearbox models that are compatible with C5s?
Also, How reliable are these gearboxs (especially if you track the car and only use the clutch to launch)? Also, how well do they work on the street?
Finally, How much do they cost?
Any input is greatly appreciated.
There is an Australian company that makes a sequential gearbox that can be adapted to the Corvette ....

There is a company here in the US that imports them and makes the adapters neccesary to fit the tranny between the torque tube and the differential ...

Start saving your pennies kid, the gearbox alone is over $20k last time I heard a price for it .....
If you REALLY want to spend money .....

Order this baby from Riley and notice it comes with an Emco tranny as standard ....

The Xtrac tranny is optional ....

These kinds of gearboxes fall in the category of "if you have to ask the price .... you can't afford them ..."

Short-Throw has one in his car.
There is also
X-trac
Emco
Hewland
all build sequential. Might be close to $100K with spare gear sets
