Long Tube troubles

After installing my LG Streets I started up the car and I have no coolant temp reading. It says "Coolant temp. xxx".

My fans start running immediately.

Any ideas?

Isn't there a sensor in the drivers side cylinder head that is typically removed for installation of headers?
Maybe it wasn't reconnected or was damaged during the R&R?

Very front of driver's side head. #1 cyl. It's kind of fragile, and if bumped during install, could be broken. Take care when removing...do when engine is cool. Very easy to fix. OTOH, could just be unplugged.

Yup, I smashed mine and had to replace it putting in my long tubes.

ya hopefully u just unplugged it and didnt break it, its right behind the alt bracket above the front spark plug

Thanks guys that was it. Just came unplugged whe I removed the alternator.

Deleted my CATs from the tune so now I'm set. Sounds bad-****...

I pull the plug and slip a socket over it when working on headers, helps protect it.
