I'm going to remove the engine in my old tt-c5 because of a possible blown piston
I do not have a lift so i wonder if it is possible to lift the engine up instead of lowering the whole suspension. I can't remember seeing anyone doing it this way...

Thanks for any input
I lifted the engine out of my '02 Z06 and lowered in a new motor. You still have to raise the car and unbolt the rear and torque tube and slide those back. The engine I pulled out didn't have heads on it and I kept the radiator and fans in place. I dropped in a motor with the heads on, it's more difficult but possible.
