Default C5 headlight system

I went to Carlisle this year for the first time. The only thing I was disappointed in was the lack of any vendors for headlight systems for the C5. I have replaced the original bulbs with the High Intensity Headlight Plus Bulbs from Eckler’s, which didn’t help at all. The bulbs didn’t help and now the bright on the driver’s side has a dark spot right in the middle of the bright light.

On that side the bright is always high in the trees and the dim is low. I can not make a adjustment that will correct both. That is in addition to the lights not being good to start with.

I was hoping to see something at Carlisle that would help out. On the way home I ran into a night rain storm which reinforced why I need to get something done. I am to the point I am ready to do what I have to. I have ready multiple posts and still have no good answers. Is there any new information on how to upgrade the headlight system for a 2004 C5.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I put the Export headlight kit in from PFYC.com much better lighting. The C5 lights are very poor and it is a must do mod. The glass lens make the difference. 90/115 PIAA bulbs need the harness because of increased amp draw.
The adjusters are another story worst means to adjust cheapest parts that are not in supply unless you find junk or buy new assemblies. Be sure to lube the adjusters and go slow if you bend the golden rod you are screwed. If you travel too far left to right you pull the headlight mounting out and have to disassemble the assembly to fix. Use a metric socket that fits over the rod the inside torx is hopeless
