There are early and Late model CD changers. Ive been told,,that they cant be exchanged. Not sure if thats true or not. I have a changer infront of me. Pioneer PN = 25685332. There are TWO connectors on the bottom of the changer. One connector has 4 pins and the other one has 6.

You will need the cable that connects the front to the CD Change.

It connects in the passenges foot well down near the fuse box.

NO! I believe that the 97 & early 98 C5s have a hard wire to the rear unit. The 99 and later units have connection plugs in the pass foot well that you need to connect to. I had to connect to them to get a CD Changer in my 02 Z (They didnt come with CD Changers) If you have a later unit,,,your all set. I have picts of the connections if you need them. send me your e-mail adderss and Ill send them to you.
