Ok the predicament is this car is my daily driver and is pritty much a necessity to get to work. Anyway the problem is that every so often I get in the car to start it it starts and instantly shuts off. If I hold the key to the crank position sometimes it will stay running, but once I release it to run it dies. The car is starting just fine it just does not stay running. I wanted to get some of your guys opinions before I start throwing parts at this thing. I bought a new key for it and that did not solve the issue, and I pulled an a** ton of codes from the thing too many to list. I am hoping that one of you have had a similar problem and know right what to do. I have searched but havent found anything quite like the condition I am in. any thing would help, and thanks in advance!
Do any of the codes have a "C" after them? If so post them so we can try to help you figure out what is wrong. Matter of fact, since this is an intermittent problem I would post all the codes you pulled.

You need to clear all your codes and then try it again and see which codes come up. You don't want to research codes the DIC stored 6 months ago, which have nothing to do with your current problem. You should get in a habit of checking your codes once a month just to see if anything is going on...
I see that! Already called him, nice guy knows alot there is no doubt there!
Sorry for the WEIRD greating on the Cell. After hanging up, I gave your issue some thought and the IGNITION SWITCH seems to be the common point in this issue. I recommend that you remove the switch and follow my rebuild post for the ignition switch. Its really not all that difficult.

Okay, I cleaned the key switch and shook the ever living hell out of the door jam boots and the car still does not start sometimes. I did more searching and found how to test the key switch which all seems fine. Now I drove the car for another week and it still does it I also cleared and read the codes several times and these are what I come up with...
28TCS: C1221H
C1232HC
60IPC: U101614
RDCM: B2263H
BORFA: UI1096H
U1064H
U1016H
When this issue happens, (when the car just dies) you need to leave everything as is and check the voltages on all the fuses that have voltages on them in the ON and START position.
For example,,,the PCM fuse #16 is the ON and Start voltage for the PCM module.
See if it is there at the full constant 12 VDC level. If your loosing that voltage on the PCM and other modules, (that would cause the numerous other module DTCs) that can cause this issue.
This is a start and that info will help get further through the problem.
You can also check the PCM, HOT AT ALL TIMES fuse (PCM B, Fuse # 23). That should be 12 VDC at all times, even if the ignition is OFF or ON or cranking.
Most of the modules have a HOT AT ALL TIMES 12 Volt supply and a HOT in ON & START 12 Volt supply. You need to see if those voltages are there at the appropiate times.
The BCM can also be at fault because of the loss of voltage and cause this issue. Check voltages at the following fuses in the IPC fuse block:
BCM fuses: HOT AT ALL TIMES = BCM1 & IPC Fuse#25 and BCM2 Fuse #23
BCM, HOT in ACC AND ON, BCMA Fuse#9
BCM, HOT in ON, BULB TEST and START, BCMI1 Fuse# 13
Make sure that you check them in the "FAIL" mode to see if one of the voltages is NOT there when its suppose to be.
