From what I understand the Pros are 3" where the Streets are 2 1/2", are there any other differences between the two, would the benefit of the pros be worth the $500 difference. This would be installed on a 2003 M6 Coupe

What makes our Pro's different from our Street Series?
Street Series use a 4 into 1 collector vs. the merge collector on the Pro's
The Pro Series uses a larger 3" diameter mid section vs. 2.5" for the S.S.
Pro's have a Siamese 3" X pipe vs. 2.5" X on the S.S.
Street Series come with a high polish finish standard
Mainly it is going to depend on what all you are going to do with the car. Given a completely stock car, you are going to see very little change between the two.
More highly modified cars will see a larger difference between the collector and the mid-section going from 2.5" to 3".
Of course the Pro's also allow the use of a LG Big 3 to make it a complete 3" system.

ok so for someone that is planning on long tubes, with borla stingers, vortex intake, a tune, and maybe a cam
If you stick with an average cam it won't make much difference, maybe 5rwhp. I would stick with the Streets unless you swap the heads or add a supercharger.

Not that I could ever tell. The Street's might be a little quieter, but you would have to measure it to confirm. The difference is less than what my ears can tell.

I have always had the Magnaflow exhaust on my Z06, which has a nice deep sound but is known for being more on the quieter side than other catbacks. After putting on the "streets", the exhaust system has really come alive. Magnaflow with LG headers is a terrific sounding combo, more like an older rumbling Vette.

I have heard a few MagnaFlow setups with our heads, and it does sound very good.
I bought the Pros back in '03, and I've never had problems with fitment, or clamps failing to seal. Had a couple of issues over the years, and LGM has always been extremely helpful and courteous. A fine company, with an excellent product.
last thing I want are any issues with a 1000 dollar product. I have recently heard by New Era Performance here in Rochester is that American Racing has the best overall long tube headers. They claim they have proven to provide excellent fitment, the most gain in HP, and excellent quality. Any reason why I should go with LG Streets over American Racing?
