Default Gear and Vendor Question

I plan on changing the gears in my FRC out to 4:10's in the near future. What I wanted to know is what is done to correct the difference in the speedodometer?

Also, can someone recommend a vendor to buy from when I decide to pull the trigger?

Will I need just the internal gears, or will I need the entire diff. I plan to eventually do heads, and a small cam package.

Thanks for any help.

Hey
Give these guys a call .

http://www.rpmtransmissions.com/contact.html

I have been using their products for about as long as I have had my 2000 vert .

There drivetrain work is the best period ,
as a plus they all race ,and are a great bunch.

Give me a buzz here at the shop. I would be more than happy to go over all of the different options on the differentials for you.

If the car is a manual transmission, nothing will have to be changed. Automatic cars have to be changed for shift points because it is MPH based.
