Default LS1edit... Where to find info

I'm starting to think that LS1 Edit may be the way to go in terms of PCM tuning. Where can I find more info. Website?

As I understand it, LS1 edit is still in the Beta testing stage and has not been released for sale.

Julio at Cartek is a beta tester and is getting great results.

It will be the way to go if you dont mind spending hours and hours to learn how to use it, and how to monitor your changes with autotap and EASE. I don't think LS1Edit will be for the faint of heart person that doesn't really understand how a PCM controls their cars' functions.

It will be a great product for people that already know quite a bit about the different sensors and functions or for those that are interested in learning and will spend the hours to do it. However, this will not just be a plug and play with a simple interface like "Add Heads/Cam Programming to PCM?"

I plan on buying the single user copy of this when it comes out for my car. I look forward to tinkering with all the values and monitoring their changes to how my car runs.

The web site has not been updated:

It should be shipping very soon.

Here is the information I got from Dave at Carputing a few days ago:

"The tuner version of the 99/00 LS1-edit is currently shipping, and we are finishing up the user documentation. The PCM-locked version will be complete at the end of January. The 97/98 PCM locked version will be available a couple of weeks later. We will send out an email announcement as soon as these are released."

I can hardly wait

Ive had Lt1 Edit for 6 months now and went into this with no knowledge at all. Now i consider my self a tuning master!! We finnaly got the car on a dyno Wed and with just some simple fuel tuning ie.. adding 5% more fuel at 5200-6800 i picked up 15 RWHP!!! Nuff said. Cant wait for the LS1 Version. It just takes time and a little research and you can do it!! Ive done a rear gear swap put 30lb injectors in it put in the right numbere and walla its tuned!! I love it!!

The car is a 96 Impala SS with a 409 LT4
