I have the TNT wet kit which is going to be installed on my car on Monday. After talking to the shop doing the install, they recommended it would be a good idea to have a bottle warmer installed as well. I went to TNT's site, and although it says they sell a bottle warmer, they list no details or price, just a small picture.
Does anyone have a Nitrous Express kit and the bottle warmer with that? How does it work? By bottle pressure or by bottle temp?.. Which is better?
How about the TNT one? Does anyone have similar info on that?
By pressure is the only way to go. Yes, it's certainly worth buying. Especially if you live North of Southern Florida and are going to want to use your nitrous in the Winter! Expect to pay around $200!

I have no experience with the TNT warmer but like this warmer and the NOS and Compucar they are thermostatically controlled. I know that the NOS only sufficiently heats to around 850-900 PSI which is the same for the Compucar. However the NX is pressure controlled and heats the bottle when pressure in the line falls below 900 and shuts off the heater when it reaches 1050 PSI (your optimal pressure). This is ideally the best setup in my opinion :D. I run this on my setup and it rocks!
Okay, so by pressure is best? Cool. So the NX warmer is compatible with other kits, like the TNT?
Oh, one more thing. Where did you guys put the arming switch? My ash tray is completely filled already with stereo controls for my subwoofer, so I'm not sure where else to put the thing. The other activation switch goes under the gas pedal, so at full throttle it engages, so that's easily placed, but I have no idea where to put the arming switch. I want a nice clean install, not a hack job, but I'm running out of room for all these buttons!

Yes, all warmers are compatible with each other :D If I were you, I'd mount the arming switch under the knee bolster somewhere :D if I were in your shoes. My ashtray is full of nitrous switches :D
Do yourself a favor and go checkout the Nitrous Express web site. They have details on the warmer and a custom switch setup specifically designed to fit into the stock C5 ashtray.
The switch panel includes controls for master arm, bottle open/close, bottle warmer, and purge.
The NX bottle warmer is the best out there, provides the highest wattage to the bottle, and is pressure controlled on/off, which is the only way to go!

Sounds great. I'm going to order the NX warmer right now. For you guys that have the TNT wet kit, what size jet are you running and how much seat of the pants difference does it make between 100 and 150?
Also for everyone, how are your clutches holding up?
That is exactly what I would do! NX warmer. You can rig the switch up pretty much anywhere you want. :)
Having seen Torchred's setup in person, I can say his install is NICE!!!
Let me know if I can help. We also have a full range of NX equipment. :)
Thanks,
Ha ha, as I was reading this part of the forum, my sister thought it was for a baby bottle warmer. A corvette with a baby bottle warmer???!! I guess we'll see more and more women drivers if that happens.
