Again, he's apparently not asking how to repair any "throw away" oem electronics, he's asking for the CD-rom version of the general C5/Z06 repair manuals...

In the last couple of months there was a guy who posted in one of the other Service Manual threads that he had the DVD version available for sale. I hate to tell you to search for the thread since the search function is so screwed up since they updated the forum software but that is all I can tell you.
I have the DVD and it is much better than the paper manual.

I picked one up a while back, most likely from the same person.
I checked and he has not been on the forum since April.

Ha,,,,,,,,,,,You would be ABSOLUTLY amazed at how easy it is to repair most of the "QUOTE" Throwaway Modules or parts!
You can almost make a living fixing those types of parts! There are 5-6 post on the forum as we speak detailing how to service disposable parts:
Left and Right Door Control modules
Ignition Switch
ABS Fixer repairs the EBTCM (Im sure that it is not that difficult)
HVAC Control module
HVAC Fan Motor
Multifunction Switch
Im sure that threre are more.
If I had access to some other defective components, I would try to detail fixes on them also~!
Bought one of these DVD's off the forum for $20, turns out it was an illicit copy and although properly installed it refused to work - told me I was not an authorized user or some such thing; live and learn.

I got it to work after some work, but the problem for me is two things. Frist, on my xp machine I had to trun a lot of stuff off in order to get it to run. I do not feel comfortable connecting to the internet with it setup this way (firewall and virus settings), so set it back to the way it was. So, only got it to work once. IMO, way too much effort for me to remember what needs to be turned off so I can run it. YMMV.
Next, I was told it does not work on vista. Not sure if this is still true, but it is a major problem because almost all new machines run vista. I don't have a laptop that does not have vista. If it can run on vista I may try it again.
So, ask a lot of qustions before you get it to make sure you can run it. If it will work for you I think its a great deal.
p.s. - forgot to mention the seller here does try and help resolve issues. Some issues though just can't be resolved, not his fault. It looks like the helms link above is pretty much the same thing, and may have the same issues.

It does work on Vista, you have to run it in compatabilty mode with xp and run it as administrator when you install. Junkman2008 is an expert at solving issues with it and he may chime in here. Most folks can get it installed, but some have issues with their computer setups; ie firewalls and internet security issues. What I did to get it to work 1st try, is to go back to XP service pack 2, Internet explorer 6, and delete ALL java installs. Then you can update to new after.

I do exactly this, but I run it inside a virtual PC session set up as detailed above by Wadsfrc. The Tech PC's at a dealership are set up one specific way, and all the various software that can be installed by an end user will mess it up. It is few more steps, but can be done. You can DL'd Virtual PC for free, install it, then install XP SP2, IE 6, and remove all Java instances into a Virtual PC session. Then fire up the virtual session when you need to access the manual. That way you don't mess with the way your real machine works.
