I own a 2002 ZO6. its a weekend driver only.
Recently done some modifications to kick it up a notch. I have installed a blackwing cold air intake and BB Bullet exhaust.
I was considering buying one of the hand held programmers. Looks like they run $300- $500. Is it worth it? If so, which one do you all recommend.
I would honestly look for a good tuner and dyno in your area. They will be able to do a lot more than the handhelds. I have a diablo right now and I am going to restore the vette to the stock tune and run it to Henderson Performance and throw the vette on the dyno and let Cory work his magic for $350.
NO! For your car, their a waste of money. If you have an Auto, they are a little more useful because they allow automatic tranny tuning.
If your going to keep your car and modify it, its well worth the extra 200 or so dollars to buy EFI Live or HP Tuners learn how to use it and tune your own. I have friends that help me (thank you guys "you know who you are) and teach me about programming my car.
I almost brought a Predator and MAN,,,,,,,,,,I'm glad I purchases EFI Live!
