I am looking at doing a cam change this winter. I have a 2003 Z06 with 10,000 miles. First, trying to decide if I should change the water pump or not. Don't really want to go electric at this point.
Should I change it or not and what do you recommend? I have searched and I guess the options are basically LS3, Evans, or Edelbrock...but haven't seen anyone confirm the use of the new Edelbrock. Starting to collect all my parts!
Thanks!
I elected to spend the money on a DeWitts instead. This may be a better option unless you will spend a lot of time at higher RPM. I have read the stock pump starts to fall behind the aftermarket at 5K RPM and up. Also, I wouldn't go with the Meziere. If you looks in the road racing section, you will see that pumping a constant flow may be adequate at lower RPM but if you see a lot of higher RPM it may not keep up.

What benefits have you realized from running the Dewitt's pump? Cooler temps at high RPM?
