Steering rack bushings
I got a email last night about not posting this in C5 Tech. Sorry here was the post.
This isn't a new idea but the first time we are selling them mail order.
These DRM Steering rack bushings will increase steering feel. The solid bushings will increase steering feel and get rid of unwanted slop in the rack. The bushings are made from aluminum and are plated black for a long lasting finish. Like all of our products the idea and design came from racing and they work. $37.95 for a car set.

great inexpensive way to a more responsive steering. I added one last winter and pulling it out of the garage I was amazed.

It looks like a good product from a well known company that is a supporting vendor. Why not post it in this forum?

We took care of the 45 angle cut so it works on all racks. So you don't have to do that anymore.
Thanks

I am contemplating an underdrive crank pulley. Looks like a good mod for when I do that. Thanks for replying.

Any plans to make a Poly or Delrin version? I ask because metal bushings aren't legal in ASP. Thanks

I have not notice any thing different with this mod except for better response in the wheel. That being said better response in the wheel means less play which means if you hit a bump you would feel it more. At least logically that makes sense to me, but as stated it really doesnt feel any different to me.

Randy, you might also consider making some out of Delron/MGW as I lost on of the stock ones one time and made a whole set out of Delron/MGW. The feel is just like you described and they've lasted over 5 years without an issue.
