That s amazing to see some of the guys making over 500rwhp out of 346ci!! Mine, when i bought it was dynoed/tuned to make 471rwhp/451rwtq with Dart 225 s, Long Tube 1 7/8" Kooks headers,No cats or mufflers, BIG camshaft,F.A.S.T 90 intake,90mm TB, underdrive pulley and a Halltech Stinger CAI. My new 427, recently installed, makes over 550rwhp/510rwtq.(i had to go to a 7.0L for over 500!)

Your power under the curve is probably ALOT better with the 427 though. I would take a 450RWHP 7.0 over a 500RWHP 5.7 any day of the week.
This thread makes no sense. The thread title says Fastest NA setup, then the body of the thread says who makes the most HP? Those two aren't going to necessarily be the same car by any means.

I was wondering that too. Wasn't sure if he wanted info on dyno queens or track cars.
Having big dyno #'s means nothing, you have to have the proper DCR & SCR, or in layman's terms, the right mix of components.
big dyno numbers are the results of the right mix of components, so how does big dyno numbers mean nothing? I agree having a big peak number for bragging rights mean nothing though, it's the average HP.

How do big dyno #'s mean 0..???
Example:
I once had a set-up that dynoed 472/450 RWHP/TQ & ran 11.25 consistently, same day..
Other guys had 425/400 & were running 10.90, consistently, same day
So I had biger dyno #'s, but when it came down to it, I was much slower than guys who were 50 RWHP LESS than me.
So essentially I don't put much stock into dyno #'s..
I want to see a clean run.. ET wins, not dyno #'s..
