Fixed my under hood light
This is a great forum. My under hood light works intermittently. I did a search and found my answer. I found a thread where a forum member stated that if you open the hood by reaching through the open window to unlatch the hood, the lamp will not turn on. One must open a door first. I returned to the garage, opened a door, unlatched the hood and I had a fully operational under hood light.

If the car sits a certain amount of time then reaching in through the window doesn't trip the hood light. If you want it on after that just click parking lights on and off and hood light will remain on.
