I am installing the DeWits with a left side EOC. I bought the installation kit from DeWitts. Has anyone out there done this? If so I have some questions:
Did you use the straight or 45 degree pipe to AN adaptors on the radiator?
How did you route the oil lines. My ABS module is very close to the top EOC fitting.
I installed the radiator but not the lines yet. All I can say is while the radiator is out after the fan shroud is cut, practice installing the fans on the floor for a while before trying it in the car. Took me a while and it is a tight fit. Installation is clean and the radiator fits well though.
I put the fans and the radiator in as a unit and it went in pretty easily. It is only about 27 degrees out in the garage right now so it will be a few days before it is warm enough for me to get back at it.

I haven't looked yet. Is there enough room to install the cooler adapter without dropping the LT?
I don't think it's a pipe thread in the rad for the cooler line's.Mine was straight AN.I'll post a pic this weekend on how I did mine.I have a 97 C5 so no abs module in the front to deal with.......................Paul
My rad has straight pipe to -10 AN adaptors screwed into the EOC. It also came with some 45 degree rotatable pipe to -10 AN adaptors.
I wish that ABS module wasn't in the way on mine. They should have left it where the 97s mount it...

I did not use Dewitt's installation kit so I can not give any direction on thier suggested routing, I bought my plumbing separeately from another supplier. For the lower EOC fitting I used a straight -10 AN connector, for the upper EOC fitting I used a relatively tight radius 90 degree -10 AN fitting and ran the hose down along the side of the radiator header until it cleared below the ABS module.
