Default Dual Zone Controller

I am going to have my dual zone climate control unit repaired. Can the car still be driven while it is out. This is my DD.
Oh!! the lights are out in the LCD. Going to send it to the guy on ebay. Anyone else ever use this guy?
Seems to be reputable.
Any thoughts??

Yes you can drive it. You wont have any heat but, the car can be driven! My buddy Tim does HVAC Control unit light repairs. He upgrades them to LED. He does excellent work! You might want to send him your unit. PM me for details.

Yes you can drive it but without heat/air. You can fix it yourself if you can solder at all. Spend $15 for soldering iron and go to town. There are several threads on the forum about this.
