Any chance some "friend" was messin' with your lug nuts? I'd look there first, as most issues don't happen all at once, unless there's a major failure.

Have you ever had the steering rack out for mods or repairs??? The connection for the steering shaft to the rack can be loose!

I agree with leadfoot, things don't just happen all at once. But, things can come loose. I'd suggest looking at:

- lug nuts
- tire pressures
- the crimp bolt that Bill is talking about, it will be about under the alternator and is a 13mm bolt. You can see it and get to it from the top.
- Camber/caster bolts come loose and can flop around, they are on the bottom A-arms where they attach to the frame.
- Also, grab the sway bars and jiggle them, they should be almost unmovable. Note, on your year you have plastic sway bar end links, they can break. Real easy to replace with metal and is not an issue for easy driving.
- bearings, tie rods, and ball joints, jack up each corner with the wheel free and grab the wheel. Grab on the left and right side and see if you can push/pull it. if you can move it, kind of says your tie rods need work. Then grab the wheel one hand on top and the other on bottom and do the same. If it moves in this direction (the top moves in and out) it could mean your wheel bearings are shot, or maybe ball joints. Ball joints are usually good for the life of the car, tie rods and bearings have shorter lives.
- shocks, if bad it will take a long time to recover from a bump.

If you just want to upgrade, talk to www.gmpartshouse.com and get the C6 Z06 shocks, C6 Z51 sway bars, and can't think of the springs right off my head but they can help you. It will drive like a dream.
