Default Always ! !

Always check the reluctor wheel even tho you have a brand new motor before putting everything together :/

Someone had dropped either the crank or the wheel when the motor was being built.

Lucky for me i was able to straighten it out and clean up the burrs .

Hopefully everything is in good working order now .

3 months and over 3k spent trying to figure out this problem only to find this .

That sucks. What problems have you been fighting? Have you spoke with the engine builder?

Backfiring at wot only .

The car drove great and the power was there but i couldnt go wot with out a wicked backfire .

I guess under normal driving conditions the sensor was picking up signal from that tang but under wot load the plate flexes and the sensor would lose its signal But ,, Not throw codes ,, go figure .

The Calies crank went out to be fixed(spun a bearing) and then bounced from tampa to orlando to indiana and back to florida as an assembled short block so god only knows when the dammage was done but im really suprised it wasnt cought before it got back to me .

Im just glad i was able to finaly find the problem.
