I agree go bigger then a 224. I had a 224 in one of my C5's I made around 400 rwhp with short tube headers. I would recommend a 228/232 114 or 112lsa. Nice power and easy to drive still.
Now I have a 223/228 115lsa only because of the blower

Uncle John, if you're worried about idle quality and driveability, don't sweat it. You can go with a significantly larger cam and we can still work with it.
Anything in the high 220s low 230s I should be able to make drive near perfectly.

Excellent, thats the kind of "can do" attitude I wanted to hear. I'll probably be sending you some specs to see what kind of cam you would recommend. No rush though, I'm enjoying it just fine right now.
