I don't see how anyone can possibly beat that kind of a deal. I have never installed a SC on a Vette, and I don't really care to experiment on my car. I'd rather have someone do it who has done it before, and can tune it right there.
I have auto trans, so I might have them do something to the trans, not sure. I have 3.15 gears, so I'd consider switching to 3.42's.
Anyway, for less than $7,000 you've got a SC on your car and you're definitely making good power........................ Plus, you haven't ruined drivability, which is very important to me. I've been driving high-power muscle cars for 35 years, and they are fun, but I'm tired of rumpety-rump cams and rough engines.

Skip all of the mumbo jumbo and go straight to the sc. I have all the bolt ons and spent the same amount in total to have a sc. If money is an issue save it. Air filter here, headers there. NO!!! Get a s.c. then start doing the little bolt ons.
My 2002 Coupe was 296 rwhp, even with a Blackwing CAI and Ti Z06 catback.
A&A V3 SQ s/c added 143 rwhp (439 rwhp) and cost about $5,000. And that's with a restrictor plate in the intake to keep it under 9 psi boost!!! I installed it myself (had never installed one before - Andy will walk you through it over the phone bolt by bolt if necessary). Normal street driveability around town, but push the pedal down and hang on.
