Default Running coupe without TPM

What happens if I run tires and wheels without Tire Pressure Monitors(TPM). Some say you have to reset everytime you start the car, but won't you get the "chimes" as you drive. Can you temporaily disable and put the sensors in at a later time. Thinking of buying tires and wheels already mounted, want to run them out about 5000 miles before replacing tires. Thanks

It appears you have a 2001 and if that is the case, it can be programed out. Or you can just hit the reset button when it first chimes and you will be good till the next start up.

No can't change them out, will go new when time comes. If I do the deal will sell the Z16 polished rims with mounted run flats with tire pressure sensors.

Hit reset everytime or, clear the codes once every xxx miles.. It takes a while for them to pop back up (it has to loose communication with them for a while before it dings at you).
