I have a '97 6-speed and am getting the bug to swap out intakes. A used ls6 intake seems the way to go for the money. I want to install billet fuel rails at the same time. What do I need to complete the job? I would hate to have it all apart and have to wait for parts to come in. I have read threads about this but none had the return line.
Billet fuel rails???? Why do you think you need billet rails. I hope it just for the looks. If your looking for a power gain,,,,,, it aint going to happen on a stock or evem moderately hopped up LS engine.
if you can pick one up cheap, installation of an LS6 intake manifold to compliment you header install is a good mod, and worth 5-10 additional hp. go for it
seat of pants will fool you but Drag strip doesnt. was on my bolt on car and was worth maybe .02 in 1/8 mile so yes not worth it IMHO. This was on high 11 sec car.
