Default would a catback make more power.

i just got heads and cam done and she dynoed 419hp and 377 on the torque, through 17/8 kooks offroad x and stock catback, so my question is, is it worth power to change from stock catback, if so would the z06 ti,s be the way to go.

I have the z06 ti's and I feel some back pressure compared to a corsa I had, but I like the sound of the ti's better. I'm at similar power levels.

Just add some spacers (i used some longer bolts and used some large nuts as spacers) between the flange for the mufflers. If you have a seat of the pants improvement, you have a restriction problem. It will be loud but may be able to answer your question.

I really likes the Ti mufflers.

Those are reasonable numbers for a H/C package. You can try the exhaust, but it may not make a big difference unless the cam package was very radical.

When you get on it then definitely Yes, idling it is a cooler growl. I have the g5x1 and like it a lot.

419 is low #'s for a G5X3 and 5.3 Heads, may be 5.3 heads are choking, when u say 1 7/8 kooks so i assume middle pipes are 3" all the way to mufflers (2.5"), so now u have 2 choices if u would like to go 3" all the way back, SW catback and LG Big 3". LG claimed 13 Rwhp when u switched to Big 3 catback.
