Having some problems need HELP!!!
So I took my car out lastnight and when I got home and was pulling in the driveway I heard this crackle sound thrue my speakers lights got dem guages went crazy then every thing come back up and the service
active handling, abs, and ride controll came across the screen.
So I turn the car off for a minute then start it back up take it around the block and every thing is fine. Get in it today take it to the store get back home still fine. So then I go to pick my girlfriend up and it starts doing the same thing so I try to get it back home get almost there and it just dies I let it sit a min just turn the key on to see what it says and it says ( Take key out wait 10 sec) so I did start it back up take it home and its fine again.
Can anyone help me tell me where to start?

Check the battery cables to make sure they are not corroded and tight.
Check to make sure the battery isn't weak.
Check the main ground connections under the hood that bolt to the frame rails just behind the headlight motors.
Read the sticky post at the top by Bill Curlee called "Electrical Information" for other things to check.

i would guess loose/dirty battery connection and/or battery bad first. i don't think you should ever see below 12v on the dic. if you have an ohm meter, check across the battery. it should be at least 12v with car off.

Bill Curlee found a problem with a possible shorting wire inside the door-jam accordian tube areas. That will cause all sorts of problems. Have you pulled your codes yet?

Thanks guys for the help but I think I got it fixed I checked the grounds and they were a little coroded so I cleaned them and put everything back together drove it all night no problems yet!
