Default daytime driving lights

I have an 01 Z black w/blackout kit and I would like to disable or turn off these lights. Can anyone help with a solution short of leaving your E brake on the first notch.

Pull the number two fuse under the hood. It will disable the lights. It's called the approach fuse. It also will disable the reverse lights that come on when you unlock the car at night. No big deal.

As Camjamsdad says the easiest way is to pull the A2 fuse.

If you want a more permanent fix and to retain the approach lights functions you can do the relay mod. Here's how:

No, The DIC lists that as an option but it doesn't knock out the DRL's.
