will c6 z06 exhaust fit (bolt on) a c5 or does it require a lot of fabrication work?

Cat back TI's bolt right up. Is this what you are talking about?

They are two very different BEASTS when it come to the exhaust of the C6 vs. the C5!

It is way better to buy a aftermarket set of catback exhaust then to try to fab the C6 Z06's exhaust to the C5 - I'm sure it can be done but it will require some good welding and time and then in the long run you would of been better off getting one specifically designed for the C5

Hope this helps some

Thanks,Matt

Sorry man, I misread your original post and thought you said C5 Z06 exhaust. My appologies.

No they won't fit without modding for the correct answer

The C6 does NOT have the deep center well area that our C5 has. The C6 exhaust system runs right down the center of the car and straight out the back. You would have to eliminate that well area to start.
