as long as you get the harness which you had to get in order to even get power to the TB, mine worked fine. Are all your vacuum connections in?

You have a problem with the connection at the TB. Carefully un-pin the connector one at a time, so you don't mix up the order, and solder each connection. The apply some dieletric grease to the connector before plugging it back in. I have seen this problem more than a few times and this usually seems to take care of it. I learned this fix from a GM engineer.

You will get this if you forgot to connet the TB position wire. It is on the passenger side of the throttle body.

I assumed you had everything connected in my previous post. If you happened to overlook the throttle position connection on the adapter harness this would happen.

Mine did it too, it is the TB. There is a table that needs to be increased to adjust for the added air flow at idle. I wish I could remember which one. But basically your PCM thinks your blade is stuck open due to the increase in air and is basically shutting down to prevent damage or an accident. It is a tuning issue, and yes some cars do this and some do not. The LS2 TB's seem to do it the least, I happen to have a TPIS which was common for this issue

You need a tune. You need to set your etc scalar to .0192 and you need to raise your P1514 table to adjust for the larger tb...those should fix the problem

Could be an '09+ throttle body that the tach signal won't match, because it opens backwards. The connector is the same, but the throttle blade is gold.
